Who we are
Lunovia is a platform for verified yacht crew and private staff, run by its founders, Guilherme Tavares and Gustavo, in the United Kingdom. For anything about your data, write to chefguilherme@chefg.co.uk.
What we collect
When you join a waitlist we keep what you type in the form: your name, email, the option that describes you, the role, yacht or residence preference, location, WhatsApp number and message if you add them. We also note how you found us (the link or campaign you came from and the previous page).
If you accept cookies, Google Analytics records how people use the site, such as pages visited, device and approximate location. If you choose "Essential only", no analytics cookies are set. We store your choice in your browser so we do not ask again.
Why we use it
- To contact you about the launch and early access, because you asked us to.
- To understand which roles and regions people need, so we invite the right crew, staff and clients first.
- To see which pages and campaigns work, only if you accepted cookies.
We never sell your details and never share them with employers, agencies or anyone else without asking you first.
Who helps us
The site and its forms are hosted by Netlify. Analytics, when you allow it, is provided by Google. Both may process data outside the UK under standard data protection safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist details until the platform opens and for up to 24 months after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. If you create a full profile later, you will see a new privacy notice for that.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or to stop hearing from us, at any time. Write to the address above and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
